8:40 PM – Barron Harley Band
Barron Harley Band is a dynamic alternative rock outfit from Durban, fronted by seasoned musician and songwriter Barron Harley. After more than a decade leading the punk band Hated Related, Barron has channelled his passion into a new project that blends punk rock, post-punk, folk rock, and emo influences to create a sound that is raw and heartfelt. Backed by Gary Bedingfield on bass and backing vocals, and Tal Saville on drums, the band delivers powerful live performances marked by honest lyricism and dynamic energy. They play mostly original music, drawing inspiration from icons such as David Bowie, Joy Division, and Leonard Cohen.
7:40 PM – Holidays
Holidays is the dynamic duo of Jes Bedingfield on strings and vocals and Ruan Rossouw bringing the beats. After years of performing separately, and a previous stint together in Nowadaze, they’ve joined forces to create something fresh. Jes, known for her husky vocals, and guitar and ukulele skills, brings a raw, acoustic-folk edge, while Ruan, a musician and sound guru, lays down tight, rhythmic beats. Together, they deliver punchy, interactive performances with a quirky, full-stage presence, playing pop, acoustic, and folk covers. Catch them at their debut gig for a show you didn’t know you needed — until now.
7:00 PM – Rebecca Webster
Rebecca Webster is a versatile musician, both in genre and instrumentation, with a passion for connecting with audiences. She began gigging alongside her father at age 14, encouraged by the musical Webster Clan. Now backed by her father, Charles Webster, and brother, Michael Webster, she blends folk, pop, and classic hits into an engaging set. Inspired by artists like Simon & Garfunkel, Billy Joel, and Miley Cyrus, Rebecca covers everything from ’80s classics to modern pop, putting her own spin on tracks by Creedence Clearwater Revival, and Gorillaz. Expect a laid-back performance that appeals to a wide range of music lovers.
