Take the N3 to Hilton, take the Hilton turnoff and go South into the Village (away from Hilton College). Travel 5,2km along Hilton Avenue (past two sets of traffic lights and Crossways Pub) and keep going straight as Hilton Avenue turns into Dennis Shepstone Drive. At the 5,2km mark, Knoll Drive will be on your right – the entrance to MiTH is the *second* entrance on your left into The Knoll Historic Guest Farm.
7pm – OPEN MIC
7.30pm – FAME
With influences ranging from Coldplay and Linkin Park to a playing style that ranges from soft rock and R&B to hip hop, Fame includes musicians from different paths in the music industry – bringing a fresh variety for young and old. The band has been performing on and off for various functions in and around KZN in the hope of gaining recognition. First-timers at MiTH, we look forward to seeing what they’ve got.
8.00pm – SUIKERBOSSIE STRING BAND
Christo JJ Loots, Kyle Baker and Patrick Austin are the members of the Suikerbossie Stringband. They play old time folk favourites by artists like Bob Dylan and The Avett Brothers, and emphasise vocal harmonies and flat-picking guitar runs.
9.00pm – South Wolves
South Wolves is a 4-piece Indie-Pop band. Members are Joel Scott (drums), Ricky Annandale (bass), Jason Hogan (synth and backing vocals), and Eric Scott (guitar and lead vocals). Their influences are Indie bands like Death Cab for Cutie, The Killers and The National. They love to write original songs and express their life experiences through their song writing. South Wolves has a new and fresh sound, something that you haven’t heard before. Check out their newly-released single, “Wait”, here:
