7pm – PenZephyr
The legendary Smelly Errol Fellows combines with a mystery guest from abroad to bring you some amazing new material. First time out for this act, at MiTH.
7:30 pm – Craig Naude
Craig is an avid musician and member of Cravan, who played at MiTH a few weeks ago. Craig will share a mixture of acoustic classics and originals.
8pm – The Ryno Theron Trio
Ryno Theron is a multi-instrumentalist, who focuses mainly on experimental guitar. Hailing from Durban, his first year as a solo artist was very successful, having played 40 shows, which included head lining spots and sharing the bill with some South African music legends. He also had released his debut electric album, and follow up acoustic fingerstyle EP. Ryno has extended his musical journey by forming a trio with two very talented and experienced musicians (Ashvin Laljit – bass and sax, and Ron Howse – drums). This has allowed him to explore the music which was recorded on his electric debut album, which can now be performed live as a group. Together they put on an exciting live show, comprising of Ryno’s strong influences of post rock, blues and different forms of ambient music.
9pm – Calico SA
Calico will rock your socks off! This is an alternative rock band born & bred in Pietermaritzburg. Their sound has an Indie influence and includes elements of Funk and Blues. They have been together since June 2017 and have supported the likes of Gangs of Ballet and Diamond Thug. Calico has headlined numerous other local gigs, played at the Harley Davidson company launch and have played venues as far as the South Coast. The band consists of @Josh Gilliver on drums, Ryan Woodgate on lead guitar and backing vocals, Dev van Rooyen on bass and Rudo Ludick on vocals and rhythm guitar.
ABOUT MiTH: MiTH is a semi-open mic music club. An opportunity for musicians to share the joy of their music with a friendly audience which includes fellow musicians – who have all “been there” too. (Non-musicians welcome too!) Whether you’re a newbie looking for your first opportunity to perform publicly, or a more experienced / mature musician simply looking for people who are as passionate about music as you are – come along and join us!

DIRECTIONS TO MiTH: Take the N3 to Hilton, take the Hilton turnoff and go South into the Village (away from Hilton College). Travel 5,2km along Hilton Avenue (past two sets of traffic lights and Crossways Pub) and keep going straight as Hilton Avenue turns into Dennis Shepstone Drive. At the 5,2km mark, Knoll Drive will be on your right – the entrance to MiTH is the *second* entrance on your left into The Knoll Historic Guest Farm.
