7.30pm – BIANCA WOOD
A musician based in Cape Town, South Africa, in 2015 Bianca Wood released her debut album, TIME. Although she has been making music, writing songs and singing most of her life, TIME was her first public offering as a professional musician. In 2016, Bianca underwent some incredible “musical surgery” and worked closely with some of South Africa’s top producers, engineers, agents and musicians. The Bianca Wood team completed a “Studio Exploration Tour” where Bianca and her band recorded and filmed songs in studios across South Africa. Bianca Wood and her band have opened for the Parlotones, and she has sung with Kahn Morbee a number of times. She also recently released her single, 9 crimes, featuring Richard Stirton. The team is about to release song and video number 1 of the new batch – titled BLUE. This will be followed by two more: THE COMEDOWN and THESE ARE THE DAYS. The big dream: the team would like to do a summer tour of Europe in 2017.
